Rigging Recommendations:

 

3oz bank sinker is ideal for decoys 8”-12” in length (duck butts, teal) in up to moderate current.

 

Standard sized decoys (12”-14”) can get away with 3oz sinkers in shallow water and minimal current.

 

Grindfest Outdoors uses 48” 3oz rigs on duck butts and teal decoys. These are frequently used in moderate current on river backwater, marshes, and potholes.

Review after using for a season

I purchased some Texas Rigs during the off season. I used them alongside some decoys with another brand of Texas Rigs (T F). I am throwing the T F's out and buying more from Grindfest. The T F line was stiff to begin with, but when it became cold they became stiffer yet. The Grindfest rigs were pliable and easy to handle, did not tangle and easy to put a half hitch in them to better control while carrying them. All the components appear to be top notch and performed as expected.
